Today, we capture the same legacy for individuals in our Horse Hair pottery. Each piece is created using a firing technique in which the horse hair is applied to the pot’s red-hot surface, carbonizing as fine lines imprinted in the clay. The result is magnificent patterns unique to each piece depending on the DNA in the tail hair.

Traditional - We will supply the hair from our store of donated horse hair Legacy - Capture the power of your best friend. You supply the hair from your personal horse or horses. Tail is preferable, 10-12 strands is enough.

Step 4: Submit your order

Once we receive the order form, and the confirmed purchase, we will send you an email with where to send your horse hair and a time estimate for completion.
