One of a kind art, this piece was sagger-fired by being wrapped in combustible materials, and slowly “baked” in a closed container so the fumes imprinted on the surface and left unpredictable marks in the clay. The patterns of burlap and wire are visible, and kisses of smoky sawdust remain at the base. It measures 8 inches tall and 6.5 inches wide and will make a stunning accent piece on any bookcase!
